We had loads of fun at our birthday party. All us dragons got together with the cows and we had chicken and chips first and then we had chocolate and Mummy said we could have a bit of pink wine but only the big guys and not very much. We got loads of swag. The cows got us all cars to play with. We like cars. And Unclclecle Kevin got us a DVD of a cartoon thing with Johnny Depp in it and Mummy got all excited and said he's available now but of course he's available the DVD is right there isn't it?
Mummy made us new shirts for our presents and she got this lovely patterny material all the way from Anglesey in Wales and that's where we are going on holiday later this year and I hope it will all be as pretty as the material. Bamburgh's shirt is grey because he's a bit of a fashionista and he likes smart stuff and dark colours and pretending he's Italian even though he comes from the North East of England. He's never been the same since he saw the Versace shop in Rome.
Little Dewi really loved his car. It's a green truck and he grabbed it as soon as he saw it. They were all addressed to all of us and Moo said we could pick which ones we wanted and Dewi liked the truck because he's green too. He can fit on it and ride it and he spent ages going up and down the table top because he tried the carpet and he fell off a lot. The table's smoother and he had fun doing look-no-hands

I got a parcel!

I got a wonderful surprise this morning when the postman came. There was a REALLY BIG LETTER addressed to me! Whoever is it from, I thought.

I had forgotten that Morris Cat had offered me a book about Custard the Dragon that his Gaby had drawn pictures for. Doesn't it look wonderful? There was a lovely card in with it too.
I had never read the poem before although I had heard of Custard the Dragon. The realio trulio little pet dragon. I think Gaby's picture of Custard is very good.
Poor Custard thought he was scared and he wanted to stay safe in a cage. All his friends were rude to him because they thought he was a coward.
But when a bad pirate turned up and threatened them all the others ran away. Custard was very brave and ate the pirate!
Thank you Morris and Gaby for my lovely present!

Pressies!
Last night Mummy invited her friend Mister James over for dinner. We like Mister James because he is funny. We talk to him on Twitter too. Well he said that he had pressies for us. We weren't expecting anything. It's not our birthday till next month so we couldn't think what it was for. What on earth could it be?
When he arrived we were specially nice to him and we were REALLY patient all the way through dinner even though we were dying to know what we were going to get. Then he said he had our surprise for us.

He held out his hands and said that we had one pressie each but we could swap if we liked. Then he opened his hands and we saw some lovely rolled-up knitting. Mister James likes knitting and we know he has made lots of hats and socks for people before.

It was two really great scarves. They were fantastic colours. Bamburgh's was a plain colour but it had a good pattern knitted into it. It was a lovely soft wool and it fitted him perfectly and it went really well with his jumper. And mine was long and stripey and soft and it'll go with LOTS of my clothes.
Thank you Mister James. They are really good!
