Have you heard of Flat Ruthie?

We found out about a cardboard person who is travelling the world and visiting people and we invited her to stay with us and she has agreed to come and see us. Isn't that great?

Her name is Flat Ruthie and she is Merican and she has been to 10 countries and 23 states, which is more than we have.  I don't know when she will get here. I just know that she is on her way, but I don't know how far she has to travel. She has recently been to San Diego. That's in Merica.

We shall take her to see some places round here. If she arrives when we go on holiday we shall take her to Wales, but otherwise we might have to show her bits of England. I hope she'll enjoy it.

We went glamping!

We have been glamping in a camping pod. We went to a place with a funny name called Leebotwood. Usually we go with a tent but mummy said she wanted to be sure we wouldn't get wet so we had this tent shed thing called a pod. It had floors and walls and stuff but we still got to sit outside and do stuff.

We took our crayons with us and we did some colouring in from a book that our friend Llechi sent us for Easter.

We had lots of nice food for Easter and mummy let us have these special chocolate eggs that were just plush sized and we shared them out. The cows came with us too and we kept some for them as well because it's only fair.

That's Mitch at the back. He likes camping

There was some juicy stuff that had dragons on it and it said they lived in an orchard. That's where apples grow. Mummy said we couldn't have any though. I don't know why we couldn't have apple juice. We had these other things though. They were called Uglies and they tasted of cheese.

While we were at the pod we went to a place called 1403 where there was a big battle. Mummy got nice food from the shop and we went to have a look round the museum thing. We were learning stuff about the time when the battle happened. It said that people called Archer and Fletcher had to do with shooting arrows a long time ago.

There was stuff about how they used to write then as well.

Their artists were really clever and they painted all sorts of stuff with gooey paints that were in pots like these.

We took Baa with us to go glamping. He thought he'd found grapes one night but mummy said they weren't.

More Dragonfest

We're still doing Dragonfest over here in North Wales. We've got this lovely cottage where we're staying with our friend Idris Bach and we had to bring Mummy and Unclclecle Kevin so they can pay for everything.

The view from the window is awesome and it hasn't been raining all the time, but even when it does there's stuff to do. This was all of s trying to see out of the window at the same time. I don't know where Dexter was. I expect he was off doing something good with the others.

We're not all dragons here at Dragonfest. These are the Moos. Well that's just a silly name for them really. Moo is my cousin and the others are Morris and Bill and Rolly. Rolly's the one in the front of the picture. He's from Cardiff so he understands the language round here. You can see Morris's nose and a bit of Bill's eye if you look carefully. The big bald guy is Mitch. He's an orang utan from Michigan who we adopted a couple of years ago. They were all watching TV when this photo was taken. I think they feel a bit left out of Dragonfest but they don't have to. We're friendly.

We even have our own Pink Bunny. The real Pink Bunny is a friend but she couldn't make it to Dragonfest so we got a stand-in for her. It's Rolly's teddy really.

Whenever we travel anywhere we always bring our teddies with us. Winnie the Pooh in the middle used to be mine but when I got my little brother I gave him my teddy and so mummy got me a new one. Mine's the one second from the right. The green one is Mitch's and the tiny one next to it is Bill's. The cow one is Moo's although he's sort of outgrown it now because he's nearly 13 and he says he's too old so he gave it to Morris. Pink Bunny is Rolly's. I'm not sure who owns scarf bear but he always comes with us and we sort of share him around.

The one on the back of the sofa isn't a teddy bear, he's Brian. He's a real bear. But he pretends that he's Dexter's teddy because they both think it's funny. And the other one is Jeffrey Mouse. He's from Merica and used to live in our favourite diner but he came to stay with us a few years back now.

We went on holiday

We have been on holiday at the seaside and we have had lots of fun doing all kinds of things.

On the way there we stopped off at the Italian man's restaurant for a coffee and yummy biscuits. We like his coffee because it comes in cups that are our size.

Everyone came with us. You can see Aubrey Strawbree and Barry Bunny. And there's Mitch Monkey with Secret Banana. You can spot Moo really easily. Bill's sitting on his lap with Monkeh and my brother Bamburgh is cuddling his Winnie the Pooh. Morris is near the back. I'm in the middle somewhere. Rolly's at the front with one of the Teddy Twins. There's Draby and Baa and Lion sitting on the back of the sofa. It was a bit crowded but we all get on really well so it didn't matter.

We went on this really steep railway thing that goes through a tunnel in the cliff. It was dead exciting.

The view from the top of the hill was good. Mummy said that if we stared hard enough we could see France but we never did.

One day we were by the river bit and the RNLI guys were practising rescues. That was good. We always support the RNLI guys cos they are very brave and rescue people from the sea.

While we were away it was Mummy's day and so we got her a cake as a treat.

This is my brother Bamburgh. He comes from the seaside but he said his seaside isn't like Brighton. He liked Brighton a lot and bought a t-shirt with it on.

Wonderful weekend

We have had a really fun weekend. First off we went to work with Mummy again and this time we took Bill with us.

Mummy let him look at his photo on my blog from before.

Then we all went off to a hotel and met up with Moo and Morris and Rolly and Mummy gave us a bag of chocolate eyeballs because it's Hallo Ian this weekend.

We had a great bed to sleep in. Bamburgh fell asleep even before we got into it!

On Saturday we went off to see a special museum about spies and stuff. We found this badge with a Wyvern on. They are related to dragons.

There was this teddy bear there as well. He used to live in the house that the museum's in now. There were people living there that used to do stuff with codes and one of them had this teddy. His name was Half Pint.

There was a special bit of the museum about how brave pigeons helped to stop a war. They carried messages from places where the bad soldiers were so that the good soldiers could rescue people and stuff.

Then there was a computer museum too and we didn't know that there used to be computers called after us!
