New waistcoat

Mummy made me a new waistcoat to go with my mushroomy shirt but it was a bit plain. So we had a hunt through loads of buttons and found these lovely shiny ones with hearts on and she sewed them on for me. I think they're really whizzy.

Arty stuff

We went to Lester to the big botanical gardens where they have sculpture things. We like looking at arty stuff. Mummy takes us there every year and we are allowed to climb on the sculptures because they are all outside and not museumy. We get the chance to look at all the nice flowers too because it is a big garden with special kinds of plants in it.

Then we have a picnic. This year we had sammiches and pork pie and pop and crisps. It was good.

They grew

A while ago we planted some pumpkin seeds that Unclclecle Kevin bought us and they got a bit bigger and we put them into pots and put them outside but then they got bigger and mummy said we had to plant them out in the garden. So we have. They've grown a bit since we first did them.

Disappointed

We haven't watched any of the football until the final and we hoped that the orange team were going to win because we like their cheese. But they lost. I spose that's OK though because we like tapas too. Chorizo anyone?

Mercy mission

Mummy heard that a local hospital was recruiting teddy bears and so Blue and Little Ted went off to find out what it was all about. When Blue came back he was on his own and he said that Little Ted had been given a very important job and was staying at the hospital.
So I asked Blue what it was about and he said he wanted to talk to all the little guys because there was something special that they could do. They could all be Special Memory Bears. He said the hospital people said he was too big for the job but Little Ted was just right. So he called all the little teds together and explained.

Sometimes when human people have babies their babies aren't very well and they don't get to keep them for long. It makes the mummies very sad that their babies go to heaven and my mummy said she understood because she would be very upset if she couldn't keep us.

So the people at the hospital make up Memory Boxes that have a photo of the baby and hand and foot prints and a piece of their clothes and a special Teddy. And the box helps the mummies after their poorly babies go to Heaven. And that's what Little Ted had gone off to do.

I'm so proud because all of our little teds said that they wanted to be Special Memory Bears and go off to the hospital to help the sad mummies. We'll miss them all but we know they are doing something REALLY IMPORTANT and everyone should help other people to feel better and we can be proud of them.

My mummy took all their photos so we won't forget them.

Five questions

My friend @blindmaximus posted some questions on his blog and asked people to answer them. It's part of a game that @kolo-martin is playing and you're supposed to answer the questions then set five of your own that five other people have to answer. But I like Maximus's way of doing it so I'm just going to post mine here and let people do it if they want to.

The five I have to answer:

1) How did you get your name?
Don't know. It's just my name. It means sort of secret and hidden and it's a bit magical and I'm a dragon so it suits me.

2) How do you feel about baths?
I don't like them much but sometimes I have to have one because my muzzle gets mucky.

3) What is your favorite food?
Well pizza's good. and hot dogs. And we like nunnion rings and really anything that we can get from our favourite diner though we like picnics and barbecue and stuff when we're camping too. And ice cream.

4) If you could have any animal sibling, what would you pick?
Well I've got cow cousins and they're pretty cool.

5) On a scale of 1-10, 1 being "roses" and 10 being "kill you dead" how bad do your farts stink?

I'm a dragon! 15!! LOL

And five more:
1) How old are you (in human years)?

2) If you could go anywhere in the world that you've never been where would you go?

3) What's your favourite thing on TV?

4) Food or sleep?

5) Do you have any lucky charms, and if so, what are they?
