We went on holiday

We have been on holiday at the seaside and we have had lots of fun doing all kinds of things.

On the way there we stopped off at the Italian man's restaurant for a coffee and yummy biscuits. We like his coffee because it comes in cups that are our size.

Everyone came with us. You can see Aubrey Strawbree and Barry Bunny. And there's Mitch Monkey with Secret Banana. You can spot Moo really easily. Bill's sitting on his lap with Monkeh and my brother Bamburgh is cuddling his Winnie the Pooh. Morris is near the back. I'm in the middle somewhere. Rolly's at the front with one of the Teddy Twins. There's Draby and Baa and Lion sitting on the back of the sofa. It was a bit crowded but we all get on really well so it didn't matter.

We went on this really steep railway thing that goes through a tunnel in the cliff. It was dead exciting.

The view from the top of the hill was good. Mummy said that if we stared hard enough we could see France but we never did.

One day we were by the river bit and the RNLI guys were practising rescues. That was good. We always support the RNLI guys cos they are very brave and rescue people from the sea.

While we were away it was Mummy's day and so we got her a cake as a treat.

This is my brother Bamburgh. He comes from the seaside but he said his seaside isn't like Brighton. He liked Brighton a lot and bought a t-shirt with it on.

A bit quiet

Hello everyone. It has been a bit quiet round here lately because we've not been doing much. Mummy says it will improve soon though because the weather's nicer now and the clocks have changed.
I don't know what that means because I looked at them all and they all look just the same to me but she is clever so she must know.

It is nearly Mummy's birthday and we always do exciting things then so I might have good stuff to tell you in a few weeks.

Before then I just thought I'd say hello.

Hello!

We had a brilliant weekend

We have been away for the weekend and we had a lovely Italian coffee in a place called Milton Keynes. It was because mummy and Unclclecle Kevin were going to see a man in a posh play.

We looked at the menu to choose what we wanted. There were lots of nice things to choose from.

They said it was a special moon that would look really big but it didn't look that big to me.

Back at the hotel Mummy and Unclclcle Kevin had a drink in the bar and we were allowed to sit in her handbag and watch the people.

There was an amazing view from the room because we were REALLY high up!

Fancy Italian stuff

Mummy and Unclclecle Kevin took us out today to go shopping for stuff but we got a treat afterwards because we went to a yummy place called Carluccio's where we had coffee and yummy biscuits. Except they called it espresso and biscotti.

We have been to the farm shop

Mummy said we could go away to a hotel for the weekend but then she said we could get much more fun if we stayed home and had a big day out instead. So we went for a drive into Staffordshire to our favourite farm shop at Denstone. We like it best because it has a lovely cafe and we get to eat yummy stuff.

Just look at this HUGE burger. It's all beefy and has gooey onions with it and a leafy salad and we though it was just gorgeous. Even Bamburgh had trouble finishing his share and he can eat loads of stuff all at once.

When we read the menu to find out about puddings we saw this advert for a special treat for pancake week. It will be on next weekend and we hope that Mummy won't mind going there two weeks aftr each other. We like pancakes!

A trip and lots of cake

We went away with mummy and Uncclecle Kevin this weekend and we stayed in a lovely hotel that had this lovely picture on the wall. I think it's supposed to be Yorkshire. That's where we were.

There were pretty flowers in the room. I like flowers and these were very nice but I think that they weren't real.

The cows ordered out while Mummy and Unclclcle Kevin went to dinner. They said we could have onion rings and maybe some chips.

Mummy brought some lovely cake back froma shop where they went for dinner. It's called Betty's and we think Betty is a very good baker. The cake had roobarb on it.

Afterwards we went to see the cake shop and we looked at the menu. There's loads of yummy stuff.

They even had a big cake with teddy bears on top!

More new clothes

Mummy has made me a new jumper with some wool that nice Miss Michelle sent me. Well it's not a jumper really it's more like a body warmer because that was what I asked for and it's great and it has wooden buttons and a pocket to keep a hankie in or maybe something special when we go out.

Mummy says we can go out today to see the nice people at Denstone Hall because we have eaten the last of the bacon.
